ANTİ-HALİTOSİS GARGARALARININ REZİN BAZLI RESTORATİF DENTAL MATERYALLERİN YÜZEY ÖZELLİKLERİ ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Objectives: This in-vitro study aimed to investigate the effect of five different types mouth rinses used for halitosis on color stability and surface roughness two restorative materials. Materials Methods: In this study, a total 120 disc-shaped samples (10x2mm) were prepared with nano-hybrid resin composite (Filtek Z550) giomer (Beautifill II) Randomly selected divided into six groups as (Listerine Fresh Burst, Listerine Total Care, Colgate Plax, Oderol, Halitosil) control group (distilled water). Initial values measured by spectrophotometer (Easyshade Compact) according CIELAB system, (Ra) contact profilometer (Surtronic 25). All specimens incubated in at 37° C 12 hours measurements performed same procedure. Data analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis H Bonferroni Post Hoc tests SPSS 24.0 program significance level 0.05. Results: The results showed that there was not statistically significant increase values. There change all Beautifil II materials after immersion (P<0.05). difference between Filtek Z550 kept exhibited above clinically acceptable limit (ΔE>3.3). Conclusions: Color changes occurred both rinses.
